About Bond

Bond University is set on a beautiful 49 hectare campus with a series of grand sandstone buildings amidst a landscaped promenade leading down a tranquil man-made lake.

To facilitate a world-class WordCamp, Bond University offers high-tech lecture theatres and the latest broadband and wifi connections.

The Theatres

WordCamp Gold Coast will be centered around 2 of Bond’s professional lecture theatres – the Cerum theatre and Theatre 4.

Each Theatre offers comfortable seating, large screen, data projector, fixed lectern and microphone.

Getting There

Bond University is located on University Dr, Robina. The campus is approximately 10 minutes drive from Surfers Paradise. It is accessible via car, with free parking, and public transport from other Gold Coast areas and Brisbane.

By Car

Bond publishes directions on their website for getting to the campus via car from Brisbane, Coolangatta Airport or northern New South Wales.

By Public Transport

The Bond website also has a list of Surfside bus routes which will get you to the Bond Campus.

The Queensland Government’s Translink website offers a handy Journey Planner to help you schedule and budget for getting to Bond from Brisbane or further afield.

Courtesy Shuttle

For interstate and overseas visitors staying in the pre-arranged accommodation, we will also arrange a courtesy bus. If you’re staying at another hotel, we recommend asking at reception if they provide a courtesy shuttle that can take you to the campus.
